NOTICE TO CLIENTS
CONTINUITY OF BUSINESS
DURING CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK
We are closely following HM Government guidelines and regulations during the rapidly-evolving Coronavirus outbreak. In order to minimise any risk to the health of both Clients and Staff several steps have been implemented within the Practice with immediate effect:-
Based on the latest Government and Law Society of Scotland advice, unless absolutely necessary all face-to-face meetings will be cancelled. Instead consultations will take place either by telephone or (in some cases) by Skype or similar mode of communication. Similarly during the period of the outbreak and until the Government advice changes, we will not be in a position to carry out home visits to clients except in exceptional circumstances.
Primrose & Gordon recently upgraded our I.T., information and database systems so that all of our records are stored on “the Cloud” and can be accessed by key personnel remotely. This allows remote working from home in circumstances such as we presently face. For our clients this means that there will be a good level of business continuity during the outbreak although obviously clients should not expect everything to proceed as quickly and as smoothly as when things are running normally of course.
All of our staff are subject to mandatory reporting of symptoms of the illness or exposure to persons who have been diagnosed as suffering from the virus. This will reduce risk. In our Office increased hygiene and sanitary measures have been put in place, including (but not limited to suspension of hand shaking, etc. and non-sharing of pens. Staff have been reminded of the need to maintain regular handwashing.
The key message for our Clients is that Primrose & Gordon are fully complying with the latest Government guidance which is being issued regularly and we will continue to do so. We have already put procedures in place to minimise risk to our Clients and Staff and will continue to look at any other measures that can be adopted going forward. We aim to be continually available for consultation via phone and email for all clients (Telephone – 01387 267316 or email – email@example.com). The disruption caused by the outbreak of the virus will nonetheless impact on response times and we would ask clients to be understanding of this in the coming months. To all our Clients and friends we assure you of our support and solidarity at this difficult time. Keep well and safe.
